Testing the Ice
This is one of my first attempts at claymation. I recently got a new camera and I'm working my way through the settings.
This shot was just one on her walk across the set, but (as imperfect as it is) I was really surprised and excited how well the minimal set worked.
Clay can have a way of looking like clay, but with this short depth of field and backlighting, the scene somehow feels more real and more emotional.
